This session will help you understand what Translanguaging is and what it looks like in the classroom. We will discuss linguistic oppression and how that affects our students in developing positive bilingual identities. We will also explore different mentor texts with translanguaging practices that could be used in the classroom as a way to embrace bilingualism.
