Deciding whether to request a speech and language evaluation for a student is a complex decision. It should, of course, always be done as an educational team after reviewing the concerns at hand. In this session, we will discuss key factors of multilingual speech and language development to keep in mind in the classroom when deciding if the student's needs warrant a referral.
